Stories

A man known as the God of War hears tales of
a spear called Divine Thunder.
Believing it will suit him, he orders his
subordinate to bring him the weapon at any cost.
When the moon had waxed, waned, and waxed again,
the capable subordinate located Divine
Thunder in a remote land and brought it to the God of War,
who thanked him before rushing into battle.
The God of War blazed across the battlefield like lightning,
Divine Thunder clenched in his hand.
And after slaying his foes, he let fly a mighty
roar boasting of his newfound prowess.
But as he raised the spear to the heavens,
lightning struck it and burned the God of War to a crisp.
"So that's why they called it Divine Thunder,"
mused his subordinate.
