Once, a magical civilization flourished. People created factions
and built nations, but soon began to fight over further wealth.
This is how the great war began—one which led to destruction.

After the war, the balance of nature crumbled, as did society.
A great flood consumed the world, killing many and
sparing few; these survivors followed the
stars and fled to the steep mountains.

When old enemies came together at the peaks,
terrible fights broke out over what food remained.
Yet some did not lose hope, calling on
people to share knowledge and obtain a tomorrow for all.

As old enemies came up with new magicks and skills to
fight annihilation, a notable swordsman lifted high his blade and
spread his secrets. Some named this betrayal,
but he remained firm in his beliefs.
