There was once an artisan famous for his beautiful weapons.
Each piece was highly praised, but too lovely to be used in battle.
Instead, they hung in castles and manors, becoming a
symbol of wealth.

After the artisan died, a knight armed himself with his weapons.
As enemies underestimated his flashy appearance, the knight
slew them—and soon his martial prowess was known
across the land.

The knight was, in fact, the artisan's son. He hated that his
father's work was viewed as mere decoration, and dedicated
himself to showing their true worth as weapons to all.

One day, the knight lost his life in battle, and an enemy stripped
him of his gear and took it home. But the arms were now
stained with blood and flesh, and would never be
decorations again.
