PVP Tier 2022.12.1

What are balanced units?A balanced DPS is a unit that has agi passive and/or can be built for decent agility depending on build and sub passives (aka temporary agility). Dealing high damage AA and skills are 2 of the main key factors for a balanced DPS or support DPS. Building a balanced DPS requires double haste and full set CDR memoirs with an AGI main; as a side note some gacha weapons can have temp agility 20% + elemental haste on them. Best example of balanced DPS teams require at least one agility support (either temp or perm).As of the current meta, is It not yet possible to build a balanced 1h (unless they have AGI by default) due to the lack of 1h subj weapon. Best bet for a 1h user to go full agility build or use off type main subj weapon if you can cope with a single hit AA.What are agi rusher units?Raw agility rushers are built mainly to have very high agility (anything beyond the range of 3k agility is considered fast with the highest number of agility to be possibly reached about the range of ~4k). Quick notice that more speed can sacrifice damage potential + RNG can easily turn the tables against you. In the case of 2 DPS + Tank teams it's good to have an agility rusher for the safety of surviving a possible AA kill from enemy defence.Building an agility rusher is to stack temporary agility passives from gacha weapons (and there's plenty of them; the very good ones come with boon + agi passives) + the 30% agility from a subjugation weapon. Some agi rushers have already built in temp agi so it is best to avoid going over the cap of 100% temp agility. Anything past that number doesn't count. Half cdmg/beserker/agi sets are preferred for these types of builds with a minimum of one main AGI memoir. Having any agility support in the team can help your AGI rusher reach higher speed potential without sacrificing too much AA damage.Please avoid using abyssal chars as agility rushers. What are support units?Has team Vigor or team Agi passive. Team HP, Elemental rush or Team Training also count as support, but they’re weak. A strong Vigor or Agi Supporter must have high damage themselves to rank high or have double support passive like Fio. Note: characters are ranked from strongest to weakest support from left to right.Offensive SupportOffensive supporters serve to increase the team's damage output, whether passively with skills like Verve or Valiance, or actively using a round-start Character Skill. Generally speaking, units who support without using a Character Skill are better on defense teams, while on attack teams their Character Skill can be used at the player's discretion.Defensive SupportDefensive supporters aim to keep the party alive long enough to queue up all of their skills to wipe out the enemy party. Among defensive supports are tanks who provoke the enemy and act as a damage sponge to protect glass canons. Pairing a tank with another strong defensive support can make for a fearsome attack team. Excessive defense support on defense teams is not strongly advisable due to units like Summer Captive F66x, who can disable the enemy's Character Skills if she uses hers first.Agility SupportAgility supporters are pretty straight forward: they provide the whole team with greater agility. Higher agility allows you to perform normal attacks before other units while skills load. If properly equipped, agility supporters can also be fearsome turrets, provide other kinds of support, or even act as an agility rusher themselves.

What are the purpose of Agility Snipers?Agility Snipers act as the vanguard of both attack and defense teams by using high agility stats to get the first normal attack of the game. Many snipers, if built correctly, can kill an enemy turret with a 3+ hit normal attack. Of course, this is a luck based risk vs reward archetype, but not including an agility rusher to contest or beat enemy snipers can be incredibly dangerous if luck is in their favor.Agility PotentialSome units have higher agility due to Rank Bonuses and passive skills such as Fleetfoot and Soldier. Units with more built in agility have more flexibility in terms of build options, such as having the luxury of retaining or discarding cooldown reduction memoirs and hastening sub-weapons. This list generally avoids including units with no built in agility.

Agility Snipers

What are turrets?A turret's main objective is to kill enemy turrets/agility rushers, preferably with their first skill. Units that excel in this regard are usually equipped with innate Bold Vigor or Pursuit due to the multiplicative damage added to their attacks. While there are some units with a high enough attack stat or other exception that allows them to kill with one skill, most strong turrets have one of the two aforementioned skills. Obvious exceptions to one-skill-kills are tanks and other defensive supports.Turrets should be built using a full "Blighted Flowers" memoir set, which reduces weapon skill cooldown by 30% at the start of battle. In layman's terms, your skills will be 30% loaded at the start of battle, and the sooner you can use skills, the better. Turrets should also be equipped with sub weapons with the Haste skill, which decreases skill load times by 10%. Two haste weapons are preferred, but there may be some instances where haste can be forgone. List made by emulsifier#2507 and nimbus#8500
